Neosho First Christian Church is the Chartered Organization for Scouts BSA Troop 55. We are part of the Nih-Ka-Ga-Hah District in the Ozark Trails Council.
Troop 55
Boy Scouts-
Scouts BSA Troop 55 is a boys only troop for youth age 11 - 17. Troop 55 meets Monday nights from 6 - 7pm all year. Troop 55 promotes the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Scouts are introduced to numerous hobbies, interests, sciences and even future career choices while working toward advancement and earning specific merit badges. The youth lead the program by planning activities and other events throughout the year. By taking these responsibilities, Scouts BSA develop and promote teamwork while learning to lead as well as follow.
